All three of Ohio State’s freshman defensive tackles from last season have now transferred to new schools.
After Jarquez Carter transferred to Miami and Maxwell Roy transferred to UCLA, Trajen Odom found a new home on Sunday as he announced his commitment to Arkansas.

A three-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, Odom played just 10 snaps across three games in his lone season as a Buckeye, recording no statistics.
Odom was one of four Ohio State defensive tackles to enter the transfer portal after the season, also joining redshirt sophomore Eric Mensah, who transferred to Virginia Tech. Ohio State still has eight scholarship defensive tackles on its roster for 2026, including a pair of transfer additions in James Smith (Alabama) and John Walker (UCF).
