Justin Terry is back in the transfer portal for the second time in two years.

After transferring to Ohio State from West Virginia last season, Justin Terry re-entered the transfer portal on Tuesday.

According to On3, Terry entered the portal with a “do not contact” tag, which typically indicates that a player has a specific destination in mind.

In his lone year as a Buckeye, Terry saw action on Ohio State’s second-team offensive line as a backup right tackle and also saw occasional snaps in the red zone as a sixth offensive lineman in the Buckeyes’ “Bison” package. He played 57 total snaps in 2025, the 10th-most of any Ohio State offensive lineman.

With Austin Siereveld, Phillip Daniels and Ian Moore all ahead of him on the tackle depth chart and likely returning in 2026, however, Terry decided to enter the portal again in search of a new opportunity.

A native of Pickerington, Ohio, Terry has three remaining years of collegiate eligibility.

Terry is the fourth Ohio State offensive lineman to enter the transfer portal since the end of the season, joining Tegra Tshabola, Devontae Armstrong and Isaiah Kema.
