Ohio State women’s basketball landed a top-50 prospect in the 2027 recruiting class on Monday.

Mya Wilson, a 6-foot-1 guard who is ranked as the No. 44 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2027 class, announced her commitment to the Buckeyes on Monday.

Wilson, who is rated as one of 45 five-stars in the 247Sports composite, is Ohio State’s first commit for the 2027 recruiting class. She chose the Buckeyes over Iowa, Minnesota and TCU.

Wilson, who has already scored more than 2,000 points in her high school career, led Hill-Murray School (Maplewood, Minnesota) to a 27-5 record as a junior in 2025-26.
