Odom played just 10 snaps across three games in his lone season as a Buckeye, recording no statistics.
A three-star recruit, Odom was one of three defensive tackles in Ohio State’s 2025 recruiting class along with Jarquez Carter and Maxwell Roy. Carter has since transferred to Miami while Roy is transferring to UCLA.
Odom becomes the fourth overall defensive tackle to enter the transfer portal since the end of the season, also joining redshirt sophomore Eric Mensah, who transferred to Virginia Tech. Ohio State still has nine scholarship defensive tackle on its roster for 2026, including a pair of transfer additions in James Smith (Alabama) and John Walker (UCF).
Odom is the eighth member of Ohio State’s 2025 freshman class to enter the portal after just one year as a Buckeye, also joining wide receivers Quincy Porter and Bodpegn Miller, offensive linemen Jayvon McFadden and Isaiah Kema and safety Faheem Delane.
Ohio State has now lost 30 total scholarship players to the transfer portal since the end of the season.
