150 Ohio State athletes, including four Buckeye football players, earn Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors for the 2025-26 academic year.

Starting left guard Luke Montgomery, starting safety Jaylen McClain, backup offensive lineman Deontae Armstrong and walk-on running back Stanley Jackson Jr. were the four football Buckeyes to earn the distinction, which honors Big Ten athletes who earned a grade-point average of 3.7 or better for the previous academic year.

Twenty-four of Ohio State’s Big Ten Distinguished Scholars, including men’s basketball players Braylen Nash and Branden Noel, were recognized for achieving perfect GPAs of 4.0 for the 2025-26 academic year.
