A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Dixon opened his career as Ohio State’s RB4 behind TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins and James Peoples. Despite Henderson and Judkins both declaring for the NFL draft after the Buckeyes' national championship run, Dixon slid to RB5 as a sophomore after freshman Bo Jackson emerged as Ohio State's starter, with West Virginia transfer CJ Donaldson, freshman Isaiah West and Peoples filling out the top four.
Dixon appeared in five games during his Buckeye career, rushing 10 times for 62 yards and one touchdown.
