Five-star 2028 wide receiver Jett Harrison, the younger brother of Marvin Harrison Jr., commits to Ohio State.
Ohio State proves, yet again, that it is WRU.
With 2028 five-star wide receiver Jett Harrison, the younger brother of Marvin Harrison Jr., committing to Ohio State on Wednesday, the Buckeyes have now landed a five-star wideout in six straight classes dating back to 2023.
In fact, the Buckeyes have landed a five-star wide receiver in nine out of 10 recruiting classes dating back to 2019. And if (when?) 2029 commit Austin Miller is ranked as a five-star when those rankings are revealed, it would be 10 of 11 recruiting classes (and seven straight) that Ohio State will have landed a five-star wide receiver.
- 2019: Garrett Wilson

- 2023: Carnell Tate
- 2024: Jeremiah Smith, Mylan Graham

- 2028: Jett Harrison
With Cortez Hankton taking over for Brian Hartline – widely regarded as one of the nation’s top recruiters before leaving OSU to become the head coach at USF – in January, Ohio State certainly hasn't lost much ground in its recruiting supremacy, especially when it comes to wide receivers.
In Hankton's six months on the job in Columbus, he has proven to be an impressive recruiter. Not only has Ohio State received commitments from Harrison and Miller, but Brown shut down his recruitment to the Buckeyes, putting his full trust in Hankton and his development.
