Five-star 2028 wide receiver Jett Harrison, the younger brother of Marvin Harrison Jr., commits to Ohio State.
Jett Harrison will continue his family’s legacy at Ohio State.
The younger brother of Marvin Harrison Jr., Jett Harrison announced his commitment to Ohio State on Wednesday.

Harrison is ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect by Rivals and as the No. 4 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2028 recruiting class.
While Harrison kept his recruitment quiet, Ohio State was always viewed as the frontrunner to land him thanks to the illustrious career of his brother, a two-time unanimous All-American at Ohio State who went on to be the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
After hosting him for two visits in June, including a workout at Ohio State’s final high school football camp of the summer, the Buckeyes were able to close the deal with the younger Harrison, securing his commitment before his junior year at St. Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia.
Listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, Harrison isn’t quite as big as his brother. That said, he may be more polished than his brother was at this juncture of his high school career, as his film shows a smooth route runner with explosive athleticism that catches everything that comes his way.
As a freshman at St. Joseph’s Prep, Harrison caught 51 passes for 811 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning Freshman All-American honors from MaxPreps. As a sophomore last season, Harrison caught 50 passes for 849 yards and 12 touchdowns, highlighted by a four-touchdown performance against Baltimore’s St. Frances Academy, one of the nation’s top teams.
Harrison, whose father is Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison, becomes the third member of Ohio State’s 2028 recruiting class, joining five-star defensive lineman Jameer Whyce and four-star running back Elijah Newman-Hall.
Assuming Harrison and 2027 five-star commit Jamier Brown both sign with Ohio State, the Buckeyes will sign at least one five-star wide receiver in six straight recruiting classes – and nine out of 10 recruiting classes dating back to Garrett Wilson in 2019. That streak could extend even further if 2029 wide receiver Austin Miller, who committed to Ohio State last week, earns five-star status as expected.
If Jamier Brown and Jett Harrison sign with Ohio State, it would be six straight recruiting classes with a five-star wide receiver for OSU:
