Ohio State has now lost six members of its 2025 recruiting class after just one season.

Bodpegn Miller told ESPN on Friday that he is entering the transfer portal, becoming the sixth member of Ohio State’s 2025 class to enter the portal for 2026.

A four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, Miller enrolled at Ohio State as a wide receiver after playing quarterback at Ontario High School, about an hour northeast of Columbus. The expectation was that Miller would need time to develop at his new position before playing for the Buckeyes, so it didn’t come as a surprise that he played zero snaps as a freshman.

With former Ohio State wide receivers coach Brian Hartline now the head coach at USF, however, Miller has opted to take his four years of collegiate eligibility elsewhere following his redshirt season at OSU.

Miller joins fellow wide receiver Quincy Porter, defensive tackles Jarquez Carter and Maxwell Roy and offensive linemen Jayvon McFadden and Isaiah Kema as members of the 2025 class who have entered the transfer portal after one year at Ohio State. He’s the 27th overall scholarship player from Ohio State to enter the portal for 2026.
