Former Ohio State offensive tackle Justin Terry is joining James Franklin at Virginia Tech.
Terry, who spent one season with the Buckeyes after transferring to Ohio State from West Virginia last season, announced his commitment to Virginia Tech on Saturday.

Terry is the second member of last year’s Ohio State team to transfer to Virginia Tech for the 2026 season, joining defensive tackle Eric Mensah.
In his lone season at Ohio State, Terry served as the Buckeyes’ second-team right tackle while also seeing occasional action with the first-team offense as a sixth offensive lineman in Ohio State’s “Bison” package. He’ll bring three years of eligibility to Blacksburg.
Virginia Tech becomes the fourth school to add multiple Ohio State transfers for the 2026 season, joining Notre Dame (Mylan Graham and Quincy Porter), UCLA (Malik Hartford and Maxwell Roy) and USF (C.J. Hicks and Bryson Rodgers).
