2014 Charlotte (NC) Christian TE Jeb Blazevich, who recently named a top 6 (no order) of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Ole Miss, had the opportunity to speak to Buckeye HC Urban Meyer today. "It went great. You can tell he loves to coach. He loves and cares for his players and the things I should look for is the character in the locker room, weight of the degree, and if I can be coached to my full potential," Blazevich said of the conversation. "They've been showing me a lot of love lately," Blazevich added.
While he has not set visits, Blazevich would like to visit his top schools this winter/spring, "Nothing is concrete, but the plan is to make it to all of the top six schools."
Blazevich didn't say this, but I don't think it would be surprising if he committed to a school after taking these visits to his top six schools.
I think the Buckeyes have a chance here, but Blazevich is by no means a lock. It will be a battle to land his commitment.

man, i would love to see what balzevich does under UFM. seems like a perfect match
Would be nice, but excited to see Baugh as well.We might become TE "U" after Heurman and Vannett, and Baugh. To add Blaze would just be icing on the cake!! Not an extreme need, but love how Urbs and staff go after the best of the best,no matter what!!
SCOTTC.
I'm amazed how many recruits always list Ole Miss as their top schools.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Even though the Rebels are an SEC bottom feeder, there's no denying their fan base and their obsession with Ole Miss football. Recruits can sense that excitement and are drawn to it. Ole Miss is selling tickets like crazy for their crappy Compass Bowl against a crappy Pitt team in Birmingham. (article I read said the school sold 21,000+ tickets already)
Yeah, but that excitement hasn't translated into success with the team.

Ole Miss probabl will never be a top SEC program, but it's had some success over the years. Recently though they've been dreadful. Houston Nutt had some success there, but then ran the program into the ground and went 2-10 last year. Hugh Freeze took over this year and didn't have a whole lot to work with and they finished 6-6 and are playing in a bowl game. Say what you will, but it looks like Ole Miss is on an upswing.
I thought I read a Twitter feed that he included USC in his top 5-6 list?
Southern Cal or South Carolina?
I was under the impression that USC only meant South Carolina in said state; I didn't know it carried over to Tennessee as well ;)
From all accounts this is one of the nicest guys around.. Throw in that kind of talent and he has to be one of the top targets in 2014. Seems he really likes the OSU staff based on the OP and this interview with ESPN ($), but it will be hard to bring him north.
In contention with Stoneburner, Brudzinsky and Buanamici for best name
Youboty wins that one for me
I forgot about him. Guess you'd have to add Chimdi Chekwa too
TennBuck - I would assume Southern Cal
