Sean Stewart will compete against Ohio State in Big Ten play next season.

The former Buckeye forward committed to Oregon on Wednesday. The Ducks play Ohio State in Eugene, Oregon, next season.

Stewart, a 247Sports composite five-star prospect from the recruiting class of 2023, transferred to Ohio State from Duke last offseason. He played a solid rebounding and defensive role as a small-ball center for the Buckeyes, averaging 5.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game.

Foul trouble was the primary thing that limited Stewart throughout the season. He averaged 3.4 personal fouls in just 18.4 minutes per game and fouled out of seven contests. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining at Oregon, where he could switch from center to his more natural power forward position.

Stewart joins Aaron Bradshaw (Memphis) and Austin Parks (Toledo) as the final Ohio State transfer portal departure at center to find a new home for 2025-26. The Buckeyes have added back Christoph Tilly (Santa Clara) and Josh Ojianwuna (Baylor). Sophomore Ivan Njegovan and incoming freshman A'mare Bynum, a composite top-60 prospect, round out Ohio State's center options for 2025-26.
