How can this guy still be in the game? He is an INT waiting to happen... I don't understand how Sanchez convinces Rex Ryan that he should even play a snap each week...

Sanchez sucks bad. Its awesome
Just another example of hoe college QB'ing doesn't translate at all to the NFL. Seem to recall him doing just fine in our 3-34 pasting at USC's hands.
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."
I find it funny that these announcers keep blaming Tebow and the coaching staff for making Sanchez out of rhythm. Obviously Sanchez is a good qb, its clearly Tebow's fault that Sanchez has 5 picks and 1 td over the last 3 weeks.
50 turnovers in the past 2 seasons (heard that on the radio).
Well add 3 more ints to that
And another int, this dude is horrible
Carson Palmer, and Sanchez are allowed to play while Troy Smith is out of the league. Where's the justice? :/
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
After USC put a whooping on us, I am kind of glad to see this happen. I just do not want to hear about it every day on ESPN.
Best part of that game last night was listening to Trent Dilfer's rant about how dysfunctional the Jets are. It was like Walter in The Big Lebowski going off on some psychotic diatribe about Vietnam only it was about football.
"Sherman ran an option play right through the south" - Greatest.Civil.War.Analogy.Ever
The more I hear Dilfer talk about football, the less I think he actually has anything insightfull/educational to say.
Dilfer's knob polishing of Sanchez before the NFL draft 4 years ago was kind of disgusting..... "he's the guy in the room, that other guys give their car keys to. They want him driving their car. He's the coolest guy, in a room full of cool guys." yeah, something like that.
Actually, it's pretty easy to see why Sanchez keeps on playing. I mean, his backup is Tim Tebow.
McElroy might be worth playing, but I doubt that he has enough reps as a third stringer.
Yep, still better than Tebow.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
As a Browns fan, there was a part of me who wanted Cleveland to draft him, but I'm pretty freakin glad they didn't.
No fans of any team in range to draft him should be able to say differently. He was a hot name coming out of USC. Big, big arm, athletic, well spoken, dude looks the part. Between the ears he is the suck.

He is a nice kid, was a hot prospect in a weak QB draft. He doesn't really have any good qualities to be honest..he's not big by any means(not small either) 6'2" looks like a fragile 220 or so..can not move around the pocket or escape to get yards on the ground, inaccurate, not a huge arm, crumbles as soon as you touch him in the pocket under pressure.
He's progressed from a solid NFL QB to just a plain ole bad one. I guess it helps playing at USC where u don't get touched playing behind one of the top O-lines in country.
I wasn't a huge fan of him coming out as a junior but that's just me i guess.

I'll take the Phil Taylor, Greg Little picks we received for him.

now that you mention it, it's probably a miracle that they didn't -- think that they'll trade for him?

I fear we will see Vick in Cleveland instead of Sanchez. Both are terrible ideas in my opinion.

You want Sanchez in Cleveland? lol I hope not.

good lord no. I like our youngsters, vick only playes ten games a year anyways.

How many ex-Eagle coaches/players do you think might end up in Cleveland? We've had 49er's, Jets, and God knows who else
And Vick would be a bad mistake.
Still better than Tebow? You mean the guy who came in and at least gave his team a chance to make it two games deep into the playoffs? Maybe he's not going to pace Peyton Manning, but he certainly gives you a better shot than 32 other starting/rotating QBs. He doesn't do it in the traditional sense, but a some point with your choices you have to adjust your expectations. He took a team destined for a top ten pick to the playoffs, not wit his arm, but with his game management and run threat.
Skip, is that you?
I have always thought that Tony Sparano was a mediocre-at-best coach with the Dolphins, and was surprised the Jets brought him in to run the offense. You're better off with a Cam Cameron...I just don't think Sparano is good. Everywhere he's gone - he's been average.
This certainly can't help the Jets. Same with the previous O.C. - Brian Schottenheimer - he's not that great, either.
