Ohio State tied its school record for NFL draft selections but fell one pick short of tying the NFL draft record for most picks from one school.

With 14 total selections in the 2025 NFL draft, Ohio State tied its school record from 2004, when it previously set the record for the most picks in a seven-round NFL draft. That record, however, has since been surpassed by Georgia, which had 15 selections in 2022.

Ohio State led all schools with four players drafted in the first round and seven players drafted in the first two rounds, tying its school record for players drafted in Rounds 1 and 2. Ohio State also led all schools with three players drafted in each of Round 4 and Round 5,  and Will Howard was drafted in Round 6. Those 14 total picks were the most of any school in the 2025 NFL draft – one more than Georgia, who finished second with 13.

Seth McLaughlin, Josh Fryar and Gee Scott Jr. went undrafted, however, leaving Ohio State one pick short of Georgia’s record from three years ago.
