Gee Scott Jr. is getting his chance to play in the NFL.
While he wasn't selected in the seven-round NFL draft, Scott Jr. signed with the Patriots on Saturday and will attempt to make the roster as an undrafted free agent. He will join Ohio State teammate TreVeyon Henderson and former Ohio State defensive lineman Mike Vrabel, the new head coach of the Patriots, in New England.

The Washington resident caught 47 passes for 393 yards and four touchdowns in his OSU career. His best season came in his senior year, in which he played in all 16 games en route to helping the Buckeyes win their first national championship since 2014.
In his first and only season as a primary starter, Scott caught 27 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. His scores came in wins against Purdue and Michigan State.
