2025 NFL Draft Central: Updated Picks, Reactions and Complete Coverage of Ohio State at the NFL Draft

Welcome to the Eleven Warriors NFL Draft Central.

The 2025 NFL draft kicked off in Detroit on Thursday. We have you covered with all you need to know before, during and after the event — where each Buckeye landed, social media reactions and featured stories.

The first round of the NFL draft started on Thursday at 8 p.m., while the second and third rounds will began on Friday at 7 p.m. The following four rounds will occur on Saturday, with the first pick of the fourth round set for noon.

ABC, ESPN, ESPN Deportes and NFL Network will broadcast the draft, while ESPN+ and NFL+ will stream the event. (Day 2 will be televised by ESPN2 rather than ESPN due to ESPN’s NBA playoffs coverage on Friday.)

The Block O is headed to Arizona. 

The Arizona Cardinals selected Cody Simon in the fourth round of the NFL Draft, picking him with the No. 115 overall pick.

Simon will reunite with former Buckeyes Marvin Harrison Jr., Paris Johnson Jr. and former offensive line coach Justin Frye.

Sawyer, Howard Fall to Day 3

Jack Sawyer and Will Howard are among the Buckeyes who will have to wait until Day 3 to get the call from the league as no Ohio State players were selected in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft.

Other Buckeyes whose draft waits continue into Saturday’s final four rounds include defensive back Denzel Burke, Jordan Hancock and Lathan Ransom, defensive tackle Ty Hamilton, center Seth McLaughlin and linebacker Cody Simon.

Despite its lack of third-round selections, Ohio State leads all schools through the draft’s first two days with seven total draft picks, one more than each of Georgia, Oregon and Texas.

The Buckeyes tied a program record with seven players selected in the first two rounds of the NFL draft, including first-round picks Emeka Egbuka, Donovan Jackson, Tyleik Williams and Josh Simmons, with second-round picks Quinshon Judkins, TreVeyon Henderson and JT Tuimoloau.

The Indianapolis Colts selected JT Tuimoloau with the No. 45 overall pick in the second round, making it three second-round selections and seven total for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has a first-round wide receiver for the fourth straight year as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Emeka Egbuka with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

No Buckeyes in First Half of Round 1

Ward Goes No. 1, Jaguars Trade Up for Hunter

The fireworks started early at the 2025 NFL draft.

The Tennessee Titans did what everyone expected them to do by drafting Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick, but the Cleveland Browns opted not to draft Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter with the second pick, instead trading down with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who took the two-way superstar from Colorado after sending their second-round pick and 2026 first-round pick to Cleveland for the chance to draft him.

The Browns ended up drafting former Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham with the No. 5 overall pick, rounding out the top five after Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter went third to the New York Giants and LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell went fourth to the New England Patriots.

Emeka Egbuka Signs Endorsement Deal with Adidas

Emeka Egbuka signed an endorsement deal with Adidas before the NFL draft. The former Ohio State wide receiver was one of a dozen athletes named as part of the brand's "2025 NFL Rookie Class," which also included:
