Any idea how this will affect our recruiting? He was a huge recruiter for us and since we are looking to close with a couple more DBs it could be a big loss. We need to hire a new one quickly. Heater seems like the obvious answer, any others out there worth considering?
Chuck Heater would not be a good addition to this staff...he would be a GREAT addition.
Temple has excelled at stopping the run and been really tough on defense under him.
This guy is a future head coach within 3-5 years.

Could Coach Meyer just be the de facto DB coach (similar to Coach Tress & the QB's)? Wasn't he a DB during his playing days?
Withers as the DB coach would make sense, since that's what he coached in the NFL. Then again Heater would be a huge addition.
