Victor Cutler Jr. has found his second transfer destination.

After one year at Ohio State, the former Buckeye and Louisiana-Monroe offensive lineman is transferring to Louisville for his final year of college football.

Cutler transferred to Ohio State last January to compete for the Buckeyes’ starting center job, but ended up playing only 21 offensive snaps this season as a backup center after Carson Hinzman won the starting job. With no clear path to a starting job for the Buckeyes next season, Cutler opted to enter the transfer portal again as a graduate transfer after the regular season.

Cutler was previously the starting left tackle at Louisiana-Monroe in 2022 before transferring to Ohio State to play center.

He joins a long list of players who have already committed to transfer to Louisville this month that also includes former Texas Tech quarterback Tyler Shough, former Alabama wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks, former Miami running back Donald Chaney Jr. and former Harvard defensive tackle Thor Griffith (who expressed interest in Ohio State before ending up at Louisville), among others.

Cutler is the sixth Buckeye to transfer to a new school this month, joining quarterback Kyle McCord (Syracuse), running backs Evan Pryor (Cincinnati) and Chip Trayanum (Kentucky) and defensive backs Ryan Turner (Boston College) and Kye Stokes (Cincinnati).

Former Buckeyes still in the portal include wide receiver Julian Fleming, tight end Joe Royer, center Jakob James, defensive end Omari Abor, linebacker Reid Carrico, cornerback Jyaire Brown, safety Cameron Martinez and kicker Parker Lewis.
