Alex, do you see Mitchell & Trey Johnson BOTH coming here in your honest opinion? When do you see those 2 pulling the trigger time frame wise if you had to make an educated guess? Thanks!
Alex, in regards to the 2014 LB gems, including the 2012 haul (Williams, Roberts, Perry, Marcus, Perkins) and assuming Mitchell and Johnson commit...
What if any impact does that have on our chances of landing Booker, Garrett, and McMillan?
Also, I know Ohio is talent rich at LB for 2014 but might I toss out a name, Chris Frey from UA, into the mix for some discussion? Obviously doesn't appear to be a must get or even a offerable guy on Meyer's board but is there room for him to improve and might he be someone that can work his way into the mix through camping?
I don't think it has any...Meyer is telling these guys if they're good enough they will have the chance to jump anyone in front of them...and I truly believe that is the case (that he would play a frosh over a senior or junior not neccessarilly that they're good enough, but thye might be).
McMillan and Booker definitely have OSU out in front....I think Garrett does too, although we can't confirm that
Frey is a solid player but I think he's more of an Indiana-type recruit IMO....low level BCS conference talent from what I've seen...Dorian Hendrix and Davonte James in Ohio are both better
Lets be clear though...OSU slow played him/slowed communication....I Guarantee if Meyer and the staff put the press on and let the visit happen, Skai would be a Buckeye...no room with who we have coming in
Good news for Rutgers and possibly good news for Ohio State, but bad news for fans of The Specials, The English Beat, Madness, and Sublime. Oh wait, that's ska, not Skai.
Alex, I agree this does seem like good news regarding Mitchell and Johnson. If both commit before the January visits, do you think Hearns would still take his visit?
yeah I think they are considering possibly taking 3 'backers...thus the Tommy Sanders visit and potential offer..Hearns would be tough to pass on if he wants in, but I'm not sure that visit will even happen if Mitchell AND Johnson commit by then

I think both come...I think Mitchell will be first and it could be soon...Johnson will be the domino falling

Do we know when the last time he spoke with tOSU coaches was? If recently I agree this makes Johnson/ Mitchell look quite promising.
He eliminated us last week for lack of communication so... If that answers your question
Yeah that does. Thanks. They must feel good about Mitchell and Johnson if they weren't at least slow playing him.
Yeah, kid was off the board a week ago. Rutgers was the favorite at the time. No surprise here.

I would agree 100% but it is what it is
Really hoping for a gray box soon!! They are addicting.
How Firm Thy Friendship....
At least the young man is coming to the B1G. Better players, better conference, better national opinion
I hope you're right about feeling good about Mitchell and Johnson because I'm starting to get nervous.
