At the very least, just try to beat me.

Word of the Day: Parsimony.
“HE'LL BE BACK.” Forget the teens, Ohio State's biggest recruiting win this year might be landing a 66-year-old veteran coach for another season.
Folks, Larry Johnson is coming back.
“He told me he’s going to be back," Chase Young said on Wednesday, according to my esteemed and beloved colleague Dan Hope. "If y’all know who coach Johnson is, he’s a man of his word. So he’ll be back.”
This news seems like it could maybe be significant with regards to the looming college decision of a particular defensive end from Columbus, Ohio.
OH, CANADA. Twice a year, each CFL team publicly shares ten players from their negotiation lists twice, which include players they have exclusive negotiating rights to if they ever choose to take their talents to the north.
This edition of the list is a Buckeye quarterback palooza.
If Tate Martell ever decides to take his game north of the border, the Toronto Argonauts currently hold his CFL negotiation rights. The Montreal Alouettes, meanwhile, hold the CFL rights to Braxton Miller, while Saskatchewan Roughriders hold the CFL rights to Joe Burrow. https://t.co/lG0OhztiD8

The whole list is pretty incredible, but I was legitimately hurt that Cardale Jones' name was not on there. Though to be fair, it wouldn't be wise of a CFL team to waste a spot on a future Super Bowl MVP.
TEMPLE HIRES A COACH. For those of you who have followed this saga through now three Skull Sessions, I regret to inform you its reach the least dramatic ending: Temple did not hire Greg Schiano or Don Brown.
From Yahoo! Sports:
Temple is bringing in another defensive coordinator to fill its head coaching position.
The Owls are set to hire Manny Diaz to replace Geoff Collins, a source told Yahoo Sports’ Pete Thamel. Collins left Temple after two seasons on the job at Georgia Tech. Before landing the Temple job, Collins was the defensive coordinator at Florida and Mississippi State, among others.
Diaz has been the defensive coordinator at Miami for the past three seasons. The Hurricanes enter bowl play at No. 2 in the country in total defense, allowing just 268.3 yards per game.
I now return to my homeostatic state of ignoring Temple football.
THE NICEST ROSE BOWL. If you needed a work slayer for today, I have a news: Ohio State is streaming the 1969 Rose Bowl on its website beginning at 2 p.m.
It was a game that’s billing was as big as the beehive hairdos of its era.
The 1969 Rose Bowl pitted the unbeaten and untied Ohio State Buckeyes and their heralded gang of Super Sophomores — champions of the Big Ten conference — vs the mighty Trojans of the University of Southern California — the class of the PAC-10 who boasted that year’s Heisman Trophy winning talent in all-star tailback O.J. Simpson.
It was a game for the ages – not the matchup of the decade – between Coach Woody Hayes’ top-ranked Scarlet and Gray and John McKay’s No. 2-rated Men of Troy.
Relive the day — Jan. 1, 1969 — as the Buckeyes rallied past USC en route to the program’s fifth all-time national championship.
You can watch the game starting at 2 p.m. live at OhioStateBuckeyes.com and the team's facebook page.
Sources close to the situation tell me the Buckeyes win the game, but I will be unable to confirm until late afternoon.
VIDEOBOARD FOR MVP. I never give a second thought to how the replay gets on the large screen at games, I just expect it to instantly show me the big play again.
Folks, here's how it happens.

Texas A&M ended up winning that wild game in seven(!) overtimes, so that replayed turned out to be pretty vital.
