Dre'Mont Jones will be on the field one last time for the Buckeyes in Pasedena as the Buckeye defensive tackle announces he will enter the 2019 NFL Draft, but does plan to play in the Rose Bowl.

The news is contrary to earlier rumors and reports that he would not play in the game, but Jones said he never really considered sitting out. When asked originally about whether or not he'd play in the game, Jones replied with a uncertain "we'll see," but he said that was just a joke.

Jones ranks second on the team in both sacks (8.5) and tackles for loss (13.5), trailing only Chase Young in both categories. He's also forced a fumble, recovered three fumbles of his own – one of which went for a touchdown – and had an interception returned for a touchdown during the team's win against TCU.

Jones joins Dwayne Haskins as an Ohio State player with high draft stock still electing to play in the team's bowl game as early projections have him being selected anywhere from mid first round to early second round.
