Since the other forum/11W topics are going to be primarily about Urban, I felt like a separate Ryan Day-as-Head-Coach was needed.

How do you feel about this? Basically no coaching search, didn't really check to see who else might be available--but maybe Day is your man and you're comfortable with it?

For me--it comes down to this--there are only 4 active head coaches with national titles and we just lost one. So anyone that we hire to replace him is going to be inexperienced at that. I just want Day to be successful--my fear is that for every case of a coordinator turned head coach that works out (Riley/Swinney/etc), there are so many cases where it fails miserably (Kiffin, Weis, Helton, etc). 

So what say you, good hire, or wish we could have looked around a bit?
