Winfield's senior bio per The Ohio State Team Guide:

5-9, 180...from Akron, Ohio...One of the nation's outstanding defensive backs who must be considered as a leading candidate for the Thorpe Award...an All-American last year in his first year as a starter and will certainly be considered for consensus honors this season.

Blitzes, covers, plays the run...does whatever it takes to win...has 203 career tackles, 14 pass break-ups and three interceptions.

The Ohio Division I Defensive Player of the Year as a senior...also played tailback and averaged 7.1 yards per carry...Garfield was 10-1 his senior year.

Winfield's Ohio State career per The Ohio State Team Guide:

Antoine Winfield, a team captain as a senior, was one of the all-time great cornerbacks in Ohio State history. A two-time All-American, he was a consensus choice as a senior in
1998.

He was the first Buckeye to win the Thorpe Award as the nation’s outstanding defensive back; the first non-linebacker (and only the fifth player total) to record at least 200 solo tackles; the first defensive back in Ohio State history to be voted team MVP (following the 1997 season); and the first cornerback in recorded history to lead the team in tackles when he did so in 1997.

A two-time all-Big Ten Conference selection, he closed his career with 278 tackles, including 224 solo stops, 22 tackles-for-loss, 29 pass breakups and three interceptions.

He played in four bowl games, including the 1996 Citrus Bowl when he came in as a true freshman and recorded seven tackles. He played in 50 career games, starting 29 times.

As a senior in 1998, he was one of five finalists for the Football News Defensive Player of the Year Award. He was named first-team All-America by the Football Coaches Association, Walter Camp, the Football Writers and the Football News and was named the Buckeyes’ Bill Willis Defensive Player of the Year award winner and Jim Thorpe Award winner. He totaled 75 tackles, including nine solo tackles in a win over Michigan to close the season.

As a junior, Winfield as voted by his teammates as the 1997 MVP after a season in which he totaled 100 tackles, 12 pass break-ups and two interceptions. He had 82 solo tackles, the fifth-highest solo tackle total in school history, and made the Football Writers and Football News All-America teams.

He led the team in tackles five times, including a magnificent 10-tackle performance against Michigan and a career-high, 13-tackle effort against Missouri.

A first-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills in 1999, the hard-hitting Winfield was a member of the Minnesota Vikings from 2004-2012. He retired from professional football in 2013 after a 14-year career. He will enter the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014.

Gonzalez's senior bio per The Ohio State Team Guide:

6-0, 195...from Cleveland, Ohio...Sure handed, speedy receiver who specializes in clutch catches...teamed with Santonio Holmes and Ted Ginn last year to give the Buckeyes three big-play receivers on what was one of the most explosive offenses in the country.

Will take on an increased role in 2006 with the departure of Holmes for the NFL...will line up at split end when the Buckeyes employ two wideouts, and in the slot when they go to a third receiver.

Has excellent hands, runs pure routes and is deceptively fast...also a fine blocker...will be used to return punts when the Buckeyes go with two return men.

His acrobatic 26-yard catch at Michigan last year set up the game-winning score with 37 seconds to play...his father played at Michigan and he has had two of his best games against the Wolverines, snagging a 68-yard touchdown catch against them in 2004 to go along with last year's heroics.

Excelled on both offense and defense in high school...led St. Ignatius to the state championship as a junior, earning MVP honors...totaled 71 catches for 1,873 yards and 21 touchdowns in his high school career and set a St. Ignatius single-season record for average yards per catch (27.3) as a senior.

Earned first team All-Ohio honors as a senior and was named the Co-Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press and the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Anthony Gonzalez's Ohio State career per Wikipedia:

Gonzalez was a 3-year letterman at Ohio State University, playing with fellow future NFL wide receivers Santonio Holmes, Ted Ginn Jr and Roy Hall as well as Heisman Trophy Winner, quarterback Troy Smith." source

Gonzalez was named to the All-Big Ten team and selected as an Academic All-American in 2006. He made the Academic All-Big Ten Team in 2004, '05, and '06.

Anthony Gonzalez's high school career:

Gonzalez attended St. Joseph grade school in Avon Lake, OH and then moved on to Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was a two sport standout in both football and track. In football, he was a two-way player.

As a senior, he was a first team All-State honoree as well as the Associated Press and The Plain Dealer Co-Defensive Player of the Year, catching 71 passes for 1,873 yards and 21 touchdowns. His 26.4 yards per catch set a school record. In track, he lettered for four years and qualified for the state finals as a junior and senior. Gonzalez also played basketball as a freshman.

I will always remember Gonzalez as a killer of That Team. The Catch from The Game in 2005:

Jake Stoneburner

Jake Stoneburner TE (2009-2012)
Born:
1989 (Dublin, Ohio)
High School: Dublin Coffman

Went 3-1 against That Team.

Honors
2009 Academic All-Big Ten.

Stoneburner's senior bio per The Ohio State Team Guide:

6-5, 245...from Dublin, Ohio...Jake Stoneburner is a talented football player who could excel in Coach Urban Meyer's Ohio State spread offense...he is big, fast and strong, with outstanding pass-catching abilities and who can cause matchup problems all over the field.

He needs just one more touchdown to tie the Ohio State tight ends record of 10 touchdowns, held by John Lumpkin (1996-98)...Jake led the team (along with two others) with 14 receptions this season, half of which went for touchdowns, and he earned honorable mention all-Big Ten Conference honors.

He was a record-setting receiver at Dublin Coffman...caught 74 passes for 1,267 yards with 15 touchdowns as an all-state, all-metro, all-district and all Ohio Capital Conference receiver as a senior...a two-time all-state selection and totaled 168 career receptions for 2,751 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Stoneburner's Ohio State career per The Team Guide:

Jake Stoneburner was big, fast and strong with outstanding pass-catching abilities for Ohio State between 2009-12 ... he played tight end his first three seasons and before moving to an H-back/wide receiver role in coach Urban Meyer's spread offense in 2012.

Jake had 37 receptions for 445 yards and nine touchdowns as a tight end ... his touchdown total is second among Ohio State tight ends ... he added 16 receptions for 269 yards and four touchdowns in 2012 from the H-back position to close his career with fine totals of 53 receptions for 714 yards and 13 touchdowns ... included was a game-deciding, 72-yard touchdown catch and run in the fourth quarter of the 25-23 win at Penn State ...

Jake played in 48 games played and made 23 starts and lettered four times.

Went 3-0 against That Team.

Honors

2015 All-Big Ten.

Bell's senior bio per The Ohio State Team Guide:

5-11, 205...from Rossville, GA...Talented safety Vonn Bell is one of the top defensive playmakers in college football...he has stepped up to make some of his biggest plays on the biggest of stages, including an at-the-end-zone interception in the fourth quarter against No. 1 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, an interception vs. Wisconsin in the Big Ten title game, an interception to open the win last year over Michigan and an end zone interception in the Discover Orange Bowl as a true freshman.

Bell also has recorded seven interceptions and 13 total pass break-ups to rank in a tie for first among Buckeyes (Eli Apple) in that all-important statistical category...a true junior, Bell has played in 29 games and started 15 times.

An exclamation point on Ohio State's class of 2013, Under Armour All-American Vonn Bell announced on National Letter of Intent signing day that he would be a Buckeye.

Helped his Ridgeland team to a 13-2 record and a runner-up finish in the Georgia Class AAAA state championships...Bell had 146 tackles and three interceptions as a senior, and on offense he had over 1,700 all-purpose yards and scored 21 touchdowns.
