Georgia's Win in the SEC Championship Might Complicate the Playoff Picture for Ohio State, But Who Cares?

Doesn't matter. Absolutely does not matter. Georgia just beat Auburn 28-7 in the SEC Championship game, and if you're doing the mental math at home and trying to read the tea leaves of old men sitting in leather chairs, that probably forces you to backtrack a bit and rework some of your calculations. It could be bad, it could be good, and if that's the kind of thing that you put all of your hopes and dreams on you might be sweating a bit right now.

Instead, it might be a better move to focus on what is known and real, and right that's that Ohio State is in the Big Ten Championship game with an opportunity for Urban Meyer to win only his second Big Ten title as the head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

That by itself is a noble goal, and whatever comes next due to the whims and foibles of an imperfect selection system is simply gravy. This is the big one, and this guy seems ready for the game, with minimal hand-wringing:

Are you?
