Ohio State has called in some wing support from across the pond.

The commitment of German guard Mathieu Grujicic to Ohio State on Tuesday provides the Buckeyes with some young shooting and ball-handling skill.

Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler has now made two international additions to his roster in as many years at the helm, but Grujicic could be ready to contribute right away more than Croatian center Ivan Njegovan was last year. He collected 12.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and two assists per game playing professionally in Spain for Barca 2, and added some excellent international accolades beyond his primary club.

A 33.6% shooter from 3-point range with excellent ball-handling abilities to create looks inside the arc, Grujicic fits the fast-paced, floor-spacing identity that Jake Diebler has wanted to establish with his team since he took over. The soon-to-be 18-year-old will be a weapon at the small forward, shooting guard or even point guard positions off the bench while Devin Royal shifts from power forward to start at the 3.

On a new episode of Press Coverage, Eleven Warriors' Andy Anders and Chase Brown delve into their thoughts on the addition of Grujicic and the state of Ohio State's roster. Catch their insight in the video at the top of the page.
