One day after ESPN's Outside the Lines aired footage of Rutgers men's basketball coach Mike Rice launching basketballs at his players and verbally degrading them, Rice is out of a job.
Mike Conley dropped 23 points on the Spurs last night, but none prettier than the final two. With the score tied at 90 and 6.2 showing on the clock, Conley took the inbound, drove San Antonio's Danny Green to the basket and scored the winner on the highest of bank-floaters.
Louisville persevered through a nasty, Theismann-esque injury to a key role player (Kevin Ware) to take a three-point lead into halftime. It proceeded to maul Duke midway through the second half to clinch Rick Pitino's 7th Final Four appearance, and third with the Louisville Cardinals.
