Pat Forde, Dennis Dodd, and probably others are still hating on Tress and blasting Ohio State fans for their welcoming of Tressel yesterday.
We received our bowl ban, we're taking our punishment... If we want to cheer Tress, well we'll cheer Tress. After all that man has done so much good for The Ohio State University, the State of Ohio, and the city of Columbus. He had his faults, made a few mistakes but he was so much more than a football coach. I love Ohio State football and wish they would be in the National Championship but I still wouldn't trade the Tressel years for a chance to be in National Championship. I can forgive him - his mistake cost us dearly but he deserves the ovation that Buckeye fans gave him.
Its not like he covered up child rape, academic fraud, players getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for going to their University... He covered up players selling their own personal belonging while the University and NCAA makes a ton of money off these players.

The media and most other are idiots, sorry. THey trump up huge stories, they are proved false, but the effects still hang around. OSU players were busted on stupid rules and Tressel honestly was trying to protect them. Anyone who calls that "cheating" is a complete buttwipe. There is a difference between cheating and breaking a rule. If it provides no benefit on the field it is not cheating.
Tress gave us the best decade OSU ever had, he deserves to be honored.
I agree with u, i was at the game and i cheered for him and it was amazing to see his players pock him up and carry him for everyone to see. He made a bigistake i forgive him, and heck we got urban out of it also we will win a NT in a year or two
Yeah, heard a lot of hating yesterday and this morning on sports radio.
