"What next?" is a question that college football fans find themselves asking probably a wee bit too much in general. Because of the transitory nature of the sport (you're not going to have a player on a team as a contributor for more than four years, typically), fans are always looking ahead to what's next, sometimes at the detriment of what's now.

Well, what's now is ending. J.T. Barrett, a consummate distributor, leader, and teammate, is shuffling off into the sunset. We've waxed poetic enough about the guy and devoted enough space to the Dubcast in general to dissecting his legacy, so we mostly avoid that here. But now the (this time very reasonable) question is asked: what's next? And that's the main topic of the Eleven Dubcast today.

Also! Ask Us Anything (which you can do on Twitter or via e-mail) dives into the depth chart and has Beau revisiting his salad days in Billings, and I must inform you about DJ's delectable review of a chain steakhouse favorite. And while you're at it, go ahead and rate and subscribe on iTunes if that floats your boat.

0:00 The Cotton Bowl might've been a little underwhelming, but it's still a nice win against a marquee opponent. Plus, we get into Denzel Ward's decision not to play in the game, and who impressed us the most among those who did play.

15:07 The biggie. Where does 2017 stand among other Ohio State football seasons? What about J.T. Barrett? What can we expect going forward in 2018?

34:04 Ask Us Anything wants to know how we're dealing with the end of the season and out best New Year's Eve stories. I have none, but Beau... well, Beau has one.

And that'll do it! Thanks for tuning in and visiting the Dry Goods store, thanks for Travis for our sweet logo, and we'll see you all next week!
