I don't know a lot about relationships in general; I got really, really, reeeaaally lucky in that I have a pretty great one with my fiancée, but I consider that to be really more of a happy accident resulting from her inherent goodness rather than any real accomplishment on my part.

Anyway, that's part of why I was excited that we could bring on Shelley Meyer to the Dubcast; during his coaching career that's lasted for a long, long time at this point, she's been a rock for their family and consistently been able to help guide them through the ups and downs of being involved in the business of major college football. That's a hell of an accomplishment, and it was really cool to hear her talk about how she's done it. We're eternally grateful for her taking the time out to talk with us, and it's a great interview (also I get an answer about Urban's highly anticipated tattoo, so there's that).

Plus, Ask Us Anything (which you can do via e-mail here) and we talk a little about the Maryland game and just what the hell is going on with Michigan. Plus, please don't forget to rate and subscribe on iTunes!

0:00 Terps! It was fun! Just, you know, watch the games live. Way more entertaining that way.

13:00 Michigan and Penn State loom large, but you know... one maybe not quite so large at the moment.

22:19 Shelley Meyer is cool and good and also really likes Salt Lake City, a place that I want to visit. Shelley also weighs in on Urban's dream schools, the status of his long-promised tattoo and whether his offseason beard is a good thing or not.

41:42 Three Things and Ask Us Anything, which includes a Skyline Chili take. Skyline Chili is good. That's the take.

That does it for this week! Thanks as always to Safelite Autoglass for sponsoring the Dubcast, thanks to Travis for our sweet logo, thanks to you for listening and checking out our Dry Goods store, and of course, thanks to Shelley Meyer for coming on and talking with us. See you next time!
