Have a good Tuesday.
EARN YOUR STRIPES, GET YOUR CAR. Jeremiah Smith spent the weekend at the F1 Miami Grand Prix, where he shared some fun news in an interview with Complex Sports. Asked about his dream car, the answer came easy.

“It’s always been a Urus, a Lamborghini,” Smith said. “That was my dream car.”
When the reporter followed up and asked if he planned to buy one anytime soon, Smith paused, let out an “uh,” and laughed.
“Fortunately, I already have it,” he said with a smile. “I just bought it last year in December. I got it last year.”
A 2026 Lamborghini Urus starts at $280,736. Billed by the manufacturer as “the most advanced performance SUV currently available,” the Urus Performante “takes the thrills up a notch” with a lower suspension, firmer steel springs and track-ready tires.
Smith can afford a modern supercar because he’s one of the highest-paid players in college football — and he’s earned every bit of it. In two seasons with the Buckeyes, Smith is a national champion and a unanimous All-American, totaling 163 catches for 2,558 yards and 29 touchdowns.
He’s earned his stripes. Now he’s reaping the rewards.
“I DIDN’T DO ANY OF THAT STUFF.” Last month, Marcus Freeman joined Bussin’ With The Boys, the Barstool Sports podcast hosted by Taylor Lewan and Will Compton. Lewan, a former Michigan offensive lineman, asked Freeman if he ever received impermissible tattoos while he was a linebacker at Ohio State.
Freeman didn’t hesitate. He laughed.
“Did you ask if I ever lost to Michigan? No, I didn’t,” he said.
Perfect answer.
No notes.
When @TaylorLewan77 asked Marcus Freeman if he received any impermissible tattoos at Ohio State, the Notre Dame head coach wasnt having it.

I didnt do any of that stuff.
Freeman let Lewan know he never lost to Michigan. Innocent Irish QB CJ Carr had fun with the banter. pic.twitter.com/JwgwGGV9O8
To his credit, Freeman eventually addressed the question. But first, his quarterback, CJ Carr, chimed in and asked what Lewan and Freeman were even talking about — he’d never heard of “Tattoogate.” Freeman smiled and joked that Carr’s grandfather, former Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr, and his father, former Wolverines quarterback Jason Carr, would be more familiar with it.
Compton tried again.
“But when that came out, were you kind of like, ‘Oh man, we were doing X, Y and Z with memorabilia and tattoos?’”
“No, I didn’t do any of that stuff,” Freeman said. “I got a wedding ring.”
“That’s it?”
“Yes.”
Lewan wasn’t done.
“But there were guys you were friends with that had tattoos?”
“I don’t know,” Freeman said. “I don’t know if they paid, I don’t know if they exchanged —”
“You didn’t hang out with your teammates?”
“I did, but I don’t know,” Freeman said, laughing. “Can we move on to the next question?”
He closed it out by saying that even if he did know anything, he’d take it to his grave.
Honorable.
ALL HANDS ON DECK. Five-star running back David Gabriel Georges is a can’t-miss prospect in the 2027 class. The Buckeyes are treating him that way, as Ryan Day sent his entire offensive staff to visit Georges at Baylor School (Chattanooga, Tennessee) on Monday.
Ohio State assistants Arthur Smith, Carlos Locklyn, Cortez Hankton, Keenan Bailey and Tyler Bowen all made it to Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School to see five-star running back David Gabriel Georges. No. 1 target.https://t.co/0ghXoKDn4R https://t.co/qvoRTMrXfn pic.twitter.com/U54AgT7sBz

Offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
Running backs coach Carlos Locklyn.
Offensive line coach Tyler Bowen.
Tight ends coach Keenan Bailey.
Wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton.
All on hand to see the No. 2 running back and No. 10 overall prospect in the 2027 class.
Georges burst onto the scene as a sophomore at Baylor, racking up 1,013 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns in 10 games while earning Tennessee Mr. Football honors. He followed that up with a monster junior campaign, taking home MaxPreps National Player of the Year after rushing for 1,756 yards and 27 touchdowns and leading Baylor to a perfect 12-0 season.
In an October 2025 report for 247Sports, Andrew Ivins (now with Rivals and On3) wrote that Georges has the “quickness and power to emerge as the centerpiece of an offense for a College Football Playoff contender.”
I haven’t seen him in person like Ivins, but after watching a training video Georges posted last week, it’s easy to see why.

A 4.38-second 40-yard dash at 220 pounds?
Yeah, Georges looks like one of those guys.
Now it’s up to Day, Smith and Locklyn to close the deal between now and December.
