Some people believe that sequels are never as good as the original.

We are not some people.

Last month, Eleven Warriors kicked off the 12th Warrior Happy Hour with Ohio State legend Andy Katzenmoyer. Next week, we'll continue the series with former Ohio State All-American and current Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins on Friday, July 11 at 5 p.m.

In a live Q&A exclusive with J.K. ALL DAY, 12th Warriors will hear untold stories, have a chance to ask questions and connect with an all-time Buckeye like never before. It's relaxed. It's interactive. It's our way of saying thank you for backing independent Ohio State sports coverage, for representing Eleven Warriors and for being the heart of what we do at 11W.

Grab your drink of choice, log on and let's make some memories. We'll share further details in the Premium Lounge next week.

J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State Legend

Dobbins had an exceptional three-year career at Ohio State from 2017 to 2019, rushing for 4,459 yards and 38 touchdowns on 725 carries — good for second in the Buckeyes' record book behind Archie Griffin. He also contributed as a receiver with 71 catches for 645 yards and five scores over his career.

A Houston, Texas, native and La Grange High School graduate, Dobbins burst onto the scene as a freshman with 1,403 rushing yards before adding 1,053 yards as a sophomore. His best year came as a junior, when he made history by becoming the first Buckeye to eclipse 2,000 rushing yards in a single season, finishing with 2,003 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Known for his vision and power, Dobbins earned All-Big Ten honors all three seasons and finished sixth in Heisman Trophy voting in 2019. He delivered several signature performances throughout his Ohio State career, including a freshman-record 181 yards in his debut and 211 rushing yards and four touchdowns against Michigan in 2019.

The Baltimore Ravens selected Dobbins with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. Despite a few injuries as a professional, including a torn ACL (2021), torn Achilles (2023) and MCL sprain (2024), Dobbins has had a productive career in the NFL, collecting 429 carries for 2,252 yards and 21 touchdowns in 37 appearances.
