Absolute dominance, in shutout fashion.
Everyone knew Saturday afternoon's game between Ohio State and Grambling State was going to be a blowout, including the coaches of both teams. Sportsbooks didn't even release lines for the game until Friday afternoon due to the expected outcome. It was just that no one knew eactly how big the disparity would be in the final score for both teams.
That said, it was even more of a blowout than many expected, as the Buckeyes dominated in shutout fashion, beating the Tigers, 70-0.
You remember that Oprah meme where she hands out gifts to every person in attendance. Ryan Day and Brian Hartline were essentially playing the part of Oprah on Saturday, as nine Ohio State players scored a touchdown in the win.
Let's take a look at some Proof Points from the Buckeyes' dominant win over Grambling State to advance to 2-0 on the season.
16 Straight Completions to start the game for Julian Sayin
In just his second start as a Buckeye, Julian Sayin has already set a record. The quarterback completed his first 16 passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns Saturday afternoon to set a new school record for the most consecutive completions to start a game.
Will Howard set the previous record last season, completing his first 13 passes in the national championship game against Notre Dame last January.
In all, Sayin completed 18 of 19 passes for 306 yards and four touchdowns. His lone incompletion was an interception intended for Carnell Tate in the end zone, but was thrown a little late, which both Sayin and Ryan Day acknowledged after the game.

119 Yards, 2 TDs for jeremiah smith
Leaving any Ohio State wide receiver open is a questionable decision; leaving the best player in college football open is incomprehensible.
But that's exactly what Grambling State did a couple of times on Saturday as Jeremiah Smith racked up five catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns, all of which came in the first half.

It's the sophomore's first 100-yard game since he racked up 187 yards against Oregon in the second round of the College Football Playoff last January, which was also the last time he had multiple touchdowns in a single game.
108 Yards, 1 TD for bo jackson
In Bo Jackson's first appearance for Ohio State, the true freshman made quite an impression on Saturday. Although it all came in the second half when the game was already well in hand, Jackson led the Buckeyes with nine carries for 108 yards and a touchdown, good for 12 yards per carry.

His biggest run of the day came on a 51-yard burst down the sideline.
OSU's third-string running back early on this season, Jackson might force his way onto the field if he proves to be a playmaker in the backfield, the same way he did throughout fall camp.
