A week after handling then-No. 1 ranked Texas to open the 2025 season in style, the Buckeyes faced FCS foe Grambling State yesterday and as expected, the contest turned into a crime scene minutes after the opening kick off.

With Ohio State's defense in full control last week against the Longhorns, Ryan Day was able to ease his first-year starting quarterback, Julian Sayin, into his first real game action in conservative fashion.

Yesterday against the overmatched Tigers however, Day and offensive coordinator Brian Hartline opened up the playbook and let Sayin sling it around the yard with the type of results you'd expect from a squad littered with NFL talent playing a program littered with FCS talent.

Even the backups had a day with a host of future stars showing out including running back Bo Jackson and linebacker Riley Pettijohn to name a few.

Turns out, 70-0 spankings don't generate as many sarcastic tweets clowning on the opponent but alas, social reactions remained plentiful.

Let's get crackin..
