It's been a while, but the Buckeyes – the No. 1 ranked Buckeyes – are back in action Saturday when they welcome the Maryland Terrapins to Ohio Stadium for a Big Ten battle.

As you may have noticed, Ohio's two-week-long autumn is over and the temperatures Saturday will reflect that with a high of 38º at kickoff and 13 mph wind out of the southwest.

However, and this is important if you know how wet Ohio can get in November, the forecast calls for no precipitation. Not during the game. Not before the game. Not after the game. So we have that going for us, at least.

The thermometer will rise as the game moves into the second half, reaching a high of 43º in the final quarter. Again, no rain in sight.

For the tailgating crowd, you're looking at a high of 27º at 8 a.m., so dress accordingly. Again, the skies should be clear, so you don't have to worry about getting wet.

Band fanatics can find TBDBITL rehearsing at Lincoln Tower Park at 7:45 a.m. They'll make their way from Ohio Stadium to St. John Arena shortly before the Skull Session kicks off at 9:40 a.m. The band will make their way back to the stadium at 11:15 a.m. with the ramp entrance and a single Script Ohio at 11:40 a.m.

“The Music of Santana” is today's halftime show.
