Multiple ways to evaluate a team's overall talent level on the roster including Blue Chip Ratio and future draft picks. Having studied this roster extensively, I am fairly certain there are somewhere between 50-60 future NFL players on the upcoming team. Not all will be 1st rounders obviously. Not all will play at their peak level this year. Not all will probably stay with Ohio State through the rest of their careers but for comparison sake:
Most future NFL players from one college team (just researching, not comprehensive)
Georgia 2021-45 (this is the record)
Miami 2001-38
Notre Dame 1988-39
USC 2003-38
This projected number between 50-60 is entirely realistic too considering the Buckeyes have sent 26 players to the league in the past two draft cycles. They just continue to recruit at an elite level and supplement through the portal meaning another 12 ish draft picks in 2027 to continue the pace of 50 over 4 cycles.
And now we have two former NFL head coaches helping to develop this talent. Good time to be an Ohio State fan.
