Ohio State has added two transfer cornerbacks in one day.
Hours after former Alabama cornerback Cam Calhoun committed to the Buckeyes, Ohio State added a transfer cornerback from another SEC power as former Georgia CB Dominick Kelly committed to Ohio State.

Kelly is transferring to Ohio State after one year at Georgia. A four-star recruit in the 2025 class, Kelly recorded three tackles and three pass breakups as a freshman. Per Pro Football Focus, Kelly played 61 defensive snaps in 2025, allowing three catches for 73 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
“Everything really happens for a reason and I’m so glad to be here at Ohio State,” Kelly told Lettermen Row, who broke the news of Kelly’s commitment.
Kelly brings three years of eligibility to the Buckeyes.
Kelly’s addition alongside Calhoun’s adds some much-needed depth for Ohio State at cornerback after the Buckeyes lost Aaron Scott Jr. and Bryce West to the transfer portal. Kelly will now compete with Calhoun, incoming freshmen Jordan Thomas and Jay Timmons, redshirt sophomore Miles Lockhart and redshirt freshman Jordyn Woods for position on the Buckeyes’ depth chart.
Kelly is Ohio State’s 15th transfer commitment of 2026.

Originally a member of the 2026 recruiting class, Kelly signed with Georgia after reclassifying into the 2025 class. He did not receive an offer from Ohio State as a high school prospect at IMG Academy, but will now have the chance to play for the Buckeyes after showing his potential in limited action in one year as a Bulldog.
