I know that I'm probably just being paranoid, but I can't shake the feeling that we should be more worried about this game than we currently are. Yes, I read the staff article about the "September Terps", and for the most part, I feel like I agree with everything that was said. Maryland always starts hot against a cushy schedule, only to wilt when the games get tough and accept their rightful place at around the 7th-9th best team in the conference. Yet, for some reason, their results seem different this year. They have a quality quarterback with a plethora of experience, a maybe better-than-expected defense, and they are doing what good teams should: carpet-bombing shitty teams. They beat Indiana worse than we did, beat MSU every bit as soundly as we beat a far lesser opponent in YSU, and while their Virginia and Charlotte games were closer than the final score indicated, they've still won comfortably in every outing. 

I know that we beat a far superior opponent than Maryland when we beat Notre Dame, and I know that I should feel super confident going into this week. But at the same time, I feel like there is a very real chance that this Maryland team is the 4th best team in the conference this year (a scorching indictment on the BIG10 West), and if we are going to have a letdown game this year, this may be the only team on our schedule outside of PSU and Michigan who could take advantage of that.

So, am I just being paranoid, or is this game making anyone else around here nervous?
