Courtney Smith said that she refused to press charges in order to protect her husbands job. So Urban Meyer has both Zach and Courtney denying that anything serious took place. Why would he fire Zach Smith when all sides were saying it’s nothing? It’s not like Courtney went to Urban directly and told him. When charges were finally filed Zach Smith was fired. 

I feel bad for Courtney Smith, I don’t doubt that she dealt with abuse. But she shouldn’t blame Coach Meyer when she refused to press charges in order to protect Zach Smith’s job.
