Hey Ref! I'm the second Michigan coach to start his career 0–3 against Ohio State. If I'm still around, I'll be the first to go 0–4.
Jim Harbaugh and Rich Rodridguez are the only Michigan coaches to start 0–3 against Ohio State.
Through three seasons, Harbaugh is 1–5 against rivals and is 1–7 against teams ranked in the top 10. His lone win was against Florida in Week 1 this year. We now know who "good" Florida was.
Considering the players Ohio State returns and the fire that burns in Urban Meyer to win this game, Harbaugh will have a hard task not becoming the only coach of That Team to start his career 0–4.
COACH | YEARS | RECORD | PCT |
---|---|---|---|
Jim Harbaugh | 2015–Now | 0–3 | .000 |
Rich Rodriguez | 2008–2010 | 0–3 | .000 |
Chalmers "Bump" Elliott | 1959–1968 | 3–7 | .300 |
Harry Kipke | 1929–1937 | 3–6 | .333 |
Brady Hoke | 2011–2014 | 1–3 | .333 |
Lloyd Carr | 1995–2007 | 6–7 | .462 |
Langdon "Biff" Lee | 1900 | 0–0–1 | .500 |
Elton E. Wieman | 1927–1928 | 1–1 | .500 |
Bennie Oosterbaan | 1948–1958 | 5–5–1 | .500 |
Playoffs or not, it's always a good year when Ohio State wins this game. It's 6:37 and Michigan still sucks.
