What is up with the horrible slate of games this weekend?  Out of the top 10, #1, #2, #3, and #5 have byes this weekend and #4 plays a joke game. 

Do teams really need to have TWO byes during the year?   Why not just start the games the second week of September rather than Labor Day weekend and have one bye rather than having a prime fall weekend so devoid of good college football?  This is like a week 2 slate where you pretty much expect there to not be very many good match ups but you watch just because you are starved for football.  By week 10, you really should be in the meat of the schedule, and not have a large chunk of the top 10 idle.  Don't even get me started on Clemson playing a team named for the sound a dog makes!
