Mesidor’s ability to switch up his rush techniques on the fly, along with his burst and willingness to go inside without worrying about containment in their rush sets is what has him as Miami’s top edge defender in Tengwall’s eyes. He believes that Bain is being given a lot more credit because of his stats in that aTm game, in which it was really a combination of Mesidor beating his guy and Reed simply running into a sack/tackle for loss because of him having happy feet and not trusting his pocket enough to make the correct read on a play. Overall I thought it was a really good insight into what Miami like to do and shows how they love getting their D-Lineman out in space to give them enough freedom to control the line of scrimmage.
