Ohio State's showdown with Miami in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals nears.
As they prepare to take on the Hurricanes, the Buckeyes opened practice for a quick 20-minute window for the media to view. We've compiled a highlight video from the session, which you can watch at the top of the page. A rundown of what you'll see:
- 0:00 - Intro
- 0:07 - Quarterbacks
- 2:35 - Ball security
- 4:06 - Quarterbacks and running backs
- 4:25 - Running backs
- 5:08 - Defensive backs
- 5:49 - Wide receivers
- 7:13 - Team stretching
- 9:45 - Team meeting
There weren't many observations to take from Ohio State's practice, but still a few. Here's what we saw that's notable:
- Right guard Tegra Tshabola was in attendance and fully dressed despite the injury that will sideline him through at least the CFP quarterfinals.
- Not in attendance, at least from what we saw, was wide receiver Bryson Rodgers, who announced he will enter the transfer portal on Dec. 18.
- Freshman quarterback Tavien St. Clair is wearing No. 11 in practice, playing the role of Miami quarterback Carson Beck.
