Supposedly LSU's response to Aranda being pursued by Texas A&M. If true, LSU just shattered the asst. coaching salary ceiling. For comparison, Greg Schiano is the current highest-earning asst. coach on OSU's staff at $700,000 a year.
That salary would have made Aranda the 47th highest paid Head Coach in Division I.
