So I have a 2012 Buick Verano. I love it. My aunt was put into a nursing home and her and her son offered to sell me the car at the same price a dealer offered them, so it was an excellent deal. It only Had 31-3k -ish miles. It has about 41K now.
I changed the oil around 33 -34K miles. However, I go off of the oil sensor in the car and it says I have 20% Oil life remaining. Now I plan to get it changed soon and they said it was synthetic oil, so doesn't that last longer? The sticker said I should change it at 36,000 miles but I figured that is just them wanting more money quickly.
Are Oil sensors reliable?
