All the Ohio State coaches begin today on the road for recruiting purposes. They will continue to strike up relationships for 2014 kids and close the deal on 2013 prospects.
I know Tom Herman will be in Texas. He will be sure to see QB commit J.T. Barrett as well as 2013 LB Mike Mitchell.
A source has also conveyed to me that he will make a stop to see 2014 QB Jerrod Heard.
Mike Vrabel will be in Chicago area. Recruits of note there are 2014 LB's Clifton Garrett and Nyles Morgan, 2014 CB Parrker Westphal, 2014 RB Mikale Wilbon, and 2014 OL Jamarco Jones.
Luke Fickell has an in-home visit with Trey Johnson this Wednesday.
Stan Drayton was up in Cleveland today, speciically at Glenville checking out Marcelys Jones, Chris Worley, and Marshon Lattimore.
Tom Herman now will be visiting Drew Barker at his school on Wednesday.

Did anyone see J.T. Barrett at the game? Is he on cruthes or is he limping around? With the serious knee injury he had I was wondering about that.
Any coach visitng Vonn Bell?
Seems like he's leaning Bama and we have some catching up to do.
^^^What makes you think he is leaning Bama^^^
That's probably an assumption because he went to the Iron Bowl over The Game. He has been to a bunch of Bama games this year but still not to CBus for a game. I think distance is a factor, especially because it's hard to make the trip while he still has games on the weekends.
Its that he's basically been to everyone of Bama's home games, which makes sense because of the distance.
One of our biggest strengths wilth him was the relationships with coaches and depth chart. Saban's been in his ear telling him to not worry about their depth.
Plus with this recent article, things just seem to be trending down. Not that we're out of it yet. We should still get a visit but I think we trail Bama and have a bit of work to do.

Trey Johnson will get a visit from Fickell this week
Any idea of who Urban is visiting?
This^^^^^I would like to know this.
I think Bell is a long shot now...almost every weekend it seems he is at the Bama games. I am guessing that's why Hayze probably thinks he's "leaning" Bama and unfortunately, I'd have to agree.
An OV to Columbus would be reassuring and might go a long way in securing his services.

Any chance Herman gets to see Knox before he makes his decision today?
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
With Vonn Bell still in season, it is near impossible to go all the way to Ohio State for a game. But it is possible for him to visit Alabama because of proximity.
I don't think it's a matter of preference, but rather proximity. And why not go to a game at all if applicable? It's free.
I think the plus to take is that he is visiting Bama, and not Tennessee, as they seem to be the bigget competition.
Also, I expect that Withers is going to be visiting Vonn Bell and probably will be in attendance for his playoff game.
Drayton was in Cleveland today, specifically at Glenville checking on Lattimore, Marcelys Jones, and Worley
This is the only positive to us having a bowl ban. While other coaches are prepping for conference title games and bowl games our coaches are out recruiting kids. Hopefully Braxton can get an invite to New York to keep OSU in the media to go along with our coaches on the recruiting trail.
Agree 100%. As painful as it is to think about, this is the true silver lining of the bowl-ban - our coaches out gettin' yer dudz out of yer backyard while yer figurin' out how to win the next game.

A few states have there high championships this weekend
I was at the game Saturday, on the sideline, thanks to a pass from a friend. Stood next to JT Barrett, Bere, Horton, Quick and a few others. Barrett and Taivon Jacobs were standing five feet away from me, talking to Quick. Barrett was walking around without crutches.
Great to hear about JT walking without crutches. Thanks for the info Joe and sounds like you had a good time.
There are coaches in Plano, TX visiting Soso Jamabo (2015 stud RB, according to 247Sports). One could assume they visited/are visiting Mike Mitchell as well, since he lives in Plano but attends Prestonwood Christian; Jamabo attends Plano West. The schools are about ten minutes apart.
Yep, I already said as much. Mike Mitchell, JT Barrett, and Jerrod Heard getting visits too.
Never seen the Heard kids name before. Where did he come from and where does he rank on our board of QBs?
I hadn't seen Soso's name mentioned before, or ever for that matter.
nice to hear that the coach's are on the recruiting trail
O H I O is the Buckeye State
