There's actually a very good comment on page 2 by a guy named Shags.. Props to him. That being said, the article is roughly 16 months old, it's quite unfair to hold that story against him.. No one saw this coming
It's not the fact that chickens came to roost as much as it is a reflection on how fucking arrogant and ignorant this particular, and many, Penn Staters were and are.
Nobody's going to jail for selling their own items.. a lot of Penn State folks should have taken a let's be quiet and see what happens in our situation before they launched rocks at O-state and just couldn't fathom Joe Pa doing anything wrong..I know a few Penn State fans that were joyus over O-state's problems and really on some "we're better than you", "you guys are crooked", type attitudes. They not feeling like that now...
When has breaking a rule related to athletic eligability ever been remotely similar to allowing a man to sexually abuse children, over and over and over again... I am starting to despise PSU folks more and more for being cowards and afraid to admit that what happen and what Joe Pa did is perhaps the worst sports related incident EVER
^I don't know if I'd say this is the worst sports related incident ever. The 1972 Munich Olympics will most likely always be number 1 and the murder of the Dynamo Kiev players is probably number 2, but this horrid incident makes a strong case for number 3 all time.
I tried to follow Michael Sedor on Twitter and interestingly enough, he has no account!!! I REALLY want to ask him if he cared to print a follow up article on how WRONG HE WAS!!!

In this PSU loves Paterno clip, it is said the OSU "scandal" would not happen under Paterno at 3:35 mins into it. But watch the entirety with what he allowed to happen in your thoughts. The guy lived in a make believe world.
This is the very reason I try not to relish in other teams' disappointment. You never know what is just around the corner.
Bingo. Even when Michigan was enduring Stretchgate, we hardly said a peep because a) it was kind of ridiculous and b) if you have an elite team, trouble could be right around the corner.
I almost want to email that writer; what an a$$.
