anyone know how much he weighs now? And how much bulk do you think he should add to keep his speed and quickness maybe around 235 or 240? that would be almost 30 Lbs of muscle, and he came in early last year so why wasn't he able to bulk up before last season?
I realize this is college but isn't 225 small for a pro LB? Only asking cause I would assume he wants to go pro so wouldn't he need to bulk up a bit more for that.
@oakland buckeye - not if that muscle is in his legs which it would appear to be, I was talking to him on FB the other night and he said he's definetly faster but he doesn't know how much because they have not had a results test and they won't until the end of spring practice. They've been focusing on play recognition, assignments and strength and conditioning, he also said that 1 practice a week they work with the WR's coach learning how their routes work and practicing catching the ball. Don't be surprised if UFM finds his offensive playmaker to actually be a current defensive player, with the recruiting class we had which brought in a lot of young defensive talent it wouldn't be a stretch to say that the roster is going to look very different come fall.
And yes it is the real RS not some tard with a FB festish, i know this because he is friends with cam heyward, aj hawk, braxton "the axe" miller and numerous other buckeys!
It seems like they're working with Coach Smith so they can improve on pass coverage, and that makes sense. Based on what you typed, I don't really get the impression they're looking for an offensive playmaker among the defensive players.
He looks like a grown ass man. Have fun with that, B1G.....You give Marotti less than a year and you get that? I won't pretend that every player Meyer has brought in this year will be a super star, sometimes you just miss....but look at the clay Marotti gets to mold. Washington, Spence, Schutt, Perkins.....My lord. In two years we might have (at the very least) the most intimidating and imposing looking defense we've ever seen. Start putting the pieces together and OSU has the makings of some really fast angry young men flying around hitting people....

BEAST MODE! Right on holybuckeye.

Love the pic...Beast Mode is right!
He definitely doesn't look 210 anymore.
RYAN DAMN SHAZIER!
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
Lets see a pic of Simon, I just hope our db's step up. I like what I saw from Roby though. Travis Howard needs to be a better tackler.

To fully appreciate the picture above, here's a picture of him last fall. I believe it was posted by the Columbus Dispatch on 11-18-11.

no more than 225 or so for Shaz, 15ish lbs, fine, but 30 - even if solid muscle? well def effect his speed , his biggest asset.

Dude's bicep is probably bigger than my leg.
I'm thinking I don't want to get trucked by #10.

Best part is we have the money to always keep Mickey here. They should expand his role and get him bulking up Sam Thompson and Amir Williams.
Looks like my Troy Smith jersey is about to be re-branded!
