Looks like Chad Hagan may be on the transfer list too. With Hagan, Gambrell, and Cash all possibly heading elsewhere...it makes sense why the staff has gone after so many DBs of late.

My question is why is everyone Buffaloing all of a sudden?
Capn, Make It So...
maybe the new workouts, expectations, who knows? demands ? Hagan although highly regarded did have medical/injury conditions. Cash is weird.
Gambrell too?
Maybe Urban has a 40-time test for DBs.

Bummer. Seemed like a nice kid. I remember him being a huge get when he verbaled but suffered a short coming in the health area.... Like an enlarged heart?
If the reason for these guys leaving is intense workouts. I would sure like to know what kind of workout program makes you want to give up your scholarship.... There has got to be something else, my guess. We have only seen parts of Florida's. Training program I don't see anything that would cause a player to leave? Either previous programs were soft (poor choice of words) or, when the cameras turn Off they must go through something resembling a Navy seal program.

I seriously doubt it is workouts. My guess is that they have come to the conclusion that they don't fit into Meyer's plans. None of these guys that are transfering were in the 2 deep last year, and with pretty much everyone in front of them coming back, and Meyer bringing in his own recruits, the odds of these guys ever seeing the field are slim. I wouldn't be surprised if Meyer informed them of this and encouraged the transfers to try and free up scholarships, or they may have just come to the conclusion on their own.
Any possibility the reason has something to do with their coach bolting for Arkansas?
Meyer should put a clause on the transfer release that prohibits any of these DBs from going to another B1G school or Arkansas.

Terrible idea prohibiting transfer to Arkansas. If the kids like their position coaches that much, why be a prick?
If they want to go to a B1G school, the B1G rules say they have to pay their way and can't be on scholarship. Let them go where ever they want and not be a douche about it.
because Bobby Petrino is the king douche, that's why.
You don't think Arkansas would do the exact same thing if their position coach went to OSU.

Eh, if the kid doesn't want to stay here or doesn't fit in this system I see no problem letting the go wherever they want. If they don't want to play here or they aren't a good fit, they won't ever excel anyway. Let's part ways on good terms, wish them luck and replace them with 5 star studds.
And you don't think that being a douche about it could come back and bite us in the kiester? We've already gotten WAY too much bad press lately, the last thing we need is one of these kids in front of a mic saying how Urban didn't let them transfer to be with their old position coach. Heck, these days they don't need a mic, just a keyboard and access to the interwebz.
honestly, if Urban doesn't see them getting onto the two deep at any time during their OSU careers, it's much more fair of him to let them transfer and start for another school, to up their chances of making it into the NFL. Plus, if they want to go to Arkansas, let them. they might really like Taver Johnson and Paul Haynes.

Just postulation on my part
It seems to happen alot when theres coaching changes.
I never really pay attention to the other schools but I know some tsun fans and the last couple coaching changes they've had several players left the program. Some claims were maid that they couldnt handle the new coach's workout but i doubt that. Different coach's and scheme play a big part
