Gene Smith has been at Ohio State since the year two thousand and five. For those of you counting at home, that means that his tenure as the athletic director for OSU is old enough to start to receive NIL payments, is old enough to vote and get drafted, and old enough to report for jury duty.
This week on the Dubcast, George and I talk about the impact Smith has had on Ohio State, the ups and downs of his tenure, and what things might look like in the future as the next athletic director tries to follow in his very large footsteps.
Plus:
- Fall camp rolls on, and Ryan Day still doesn't know who the starting quarterback is (but we think he might)
- New commits! Hooray!
- Ask Us Anything continues to ask us anything (Dan I swear I have an answer for you, next week, I promise. I figured it out!)
That'll do it for the Dubcast, don't forget to check out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next Tuesday!
