Ohio State’s top offensive line target in the 2026 class will announce his commitment on Friday.
Felix Ojo, a five-star prospect ranked as the No. 2 offensive tackle and No. 7 overall prospect in the 2026 class, announced Monday that will make his commitment on July 4, which is also his birthday.

Ohio State, Florida, Michigan and Texas are all finalists for Ojo, but he told Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman last week that the Buckeyes and Longhorns are the top two teams in his recruitment.
“Texas and Ohio State are the top – and they are pretty even regarding my recruitment,” Ojo told Rivals. “Those are my main two right now.”
Texas is viewed as the frontrunner to land Ojo, who lives in Mansfield, Texas, but the Buckeyes have been a factor in his recruitment since they offered him last summer and won’t stop pushing to try to land his commitment until Friday.
Ojo, who made an official visit to Ohio State from May 30-June 1, would be the perfect cherry on top for Tyler Bowen’s first recruiting class as Ohio State’s offensive line coach. The Buckeyes already have commitments from four offensive linemen – in-state four-stars Maxwell Riley and Sam Greer and Arizona three-stars Aaron Thomas and Tucker Smith – but Ojo would give the Buckeyes the out-of-state five-star offensive tackle that they’ve been chasing but failed to land for years.
